You don't have to have it figured out
to reach out.

A space to
think, feel, and
find your way.

I'm a psychotherapist based in Bangalore — working with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship patterns, burnout, grief, and the quieter struggles that don't always have names.

What I believe

Therapy isn't about being fixed.
It's about learning to hear yourself again —
underneath the noise, the narratives,
the things you were told to feel.

My work is to sit with you in that process.
Patiently. Honestly. Without agenda.

How I Work

An approach built
on presence, not protocol.

Scroll to explore

01

Integrative & Person-Centred

I don't follow a single rigid model. I draw from CBT, psychodynamic work, and mindfulness-based approaches — whatever serves you best in this moment.

02

Slow, Careful, Unhurried

I don't rush towards solutions. Some of the most important work happens in pauses. We move at a pace that feels safe — and that can always change.

03

Culturally Aware

Family pressure. Social expectation. Career anxiety. I understand the specific texture of life in India — the things that are hard to explain to a therapist who doesn't.

04

Strictly Confidential

What happens in our sessions stays there. I follow RCI ethical guidelines on confidentiality. I'll explain any exceptions — like risk of harm — clearly, before we start.

05

Online or In-Person

Sessions via secure video (anywhere) or in-person at my Bangalore practice. Both formats work — the most important thing is that you feel comfortable enough to show up.

About Me

Someone who's
done the work too.

"I became a therapist because I believe that being truly heard by another person can change the shape of a life."

I'm Ananya — a licensed psychotherapist with 9 years of practice. I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, identity, burnout, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. My practice is grounded in warmth, honesty, and deep respect for the courage it takes to seek help.

Areas of Support

What we can
explore together

You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to seek therapy. If something feels heavy, persistently — that's enough reason.

Start here
🌀

Anxiety & Overthinking

Generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, the mental loop that won't stop.

🌧

Depression & Low Mood

Persistent emptiness, loss of motivation, feeling disconnected from yourself.

🔗

Relationships & Attachment

Patterns that keep repeating. Difficulty with closeness, conflict, or letting go.

🔥

Burnout & Career Stress

Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix. Losing meaning in work you once cared about.

🌱

Life Transitions

Moving cities, changing careers, becoming a parent, grief — change, in any form.

🪞

Identity & Self-Worth

Who am I outside of what I do? Shame, people-pleasing, finding your own voice.

👨‍👩‍👧

Family Dynamics

Navigating expectations, boundary-setting, enmeshment, and generational patterns.

💔

Grief & Loss

Bereavement, but also the less-named losses — of a relationship, a self, a version of life you expected.

What to Expect

The shape of
our work together

01

A Free 20-Minute Intro Call

Before anything else, we talk. No forms, no intake process yet — just a conversation to see if we're the right fit. You can ask me anything. There's no commitment.

Free · 20 min · Phone or Video
02

The First Session

A full 60-minute session where I listen — to what brings you here, what you've tried, what feels most stuck. We start to build a picture together. No pressure to have a clear answer.

60 min · In-person or Online
03

Ongoing Weekly Sessions

Most clients meet weekly, same time each week. Regularity builds the safety that makes real work possible. We'll review how it's going every 6–8 sessions.

Weekly · 50 min · Flexible scheduling
04

Ending Well

Endings are part of the work. When it feels right to move on, we don't rush it — we use that time intentionally. Clients are always welcome to return.

No minimum commitment

Words from Clients

In their own words.

"

I came in not knowing what I wanted to say. Ananya had this way of finding the thread — the thing I'd been circling for years — and gently naming it. That was the first day I felt understood.

Meera, 29

Anxiety & relationships

"

I was deeply sceptical of therapy. I thought it would feel performative. This felt like talking to someone who was genuinely curious about me — not my symptoms.

Vikram, 34

Burnout & identity

"

The free call was enough for me to trust the process. Ananya was warm, specific, and honest about what therapy could and couldn't do. That honesty meant everything.

Divya, 26

Grief & life transition

"

I did the online sessions from another city. The consistency and safety of that weekly hour became something I genuinely looked forward to. It changed how I move through the world.
